Eleanor Hagan

Eleanor Hagan,
PT, MPT, GCS, CEEAA
Owner/Physical Therapist

Eleanor is the founder and owner of Body In Balance Rehabilitation. She is a New Jersey licensed Physical Therapist who earned her masters degree from Stockton University in 2000.

Eleanor completed the American Physical Therapy Association’s Board Certified Clinical Specialist Exam in Geriatrics. She also studied at the Barcelona Scoliosis Physiotherapy School and became certified in 3-Dimensional Treatment of Scoliosis (Schroth Method). She is also a Certified Exercise Expert for the Aging Adult through the American Physical Therapy Association.

She studied under Dr. Becky Farley, Physical Therapist, to become a Parkinson Wellness Recovery (PWR) Exercise 4 Brain Change Clinician, enabling her to bring evidence-based exercises to patients diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. She is also specially trained in TMJ, which allows her to treat patients with temporomandibular joint dysfunction.

She also has an extensive background in geriatric orthopedics and has worked in a variety of clinical settings encompassing women’s health, sub-acute and nursing homes, outpatient sports and post-surgical orthopedics, homecare and hospice.

Her vision is for her company to be an all-inclusive center that addresses the wellness needs of people. It accomplishes this by maintaining a high standard of care that is reflected by evidence based research and applied clinical practice.

Dr. Andrea Olsen

Physical Therapist

Andrea is a New Jersey Licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy who earned her degree from Stockton University in 2019. Andrea has been with Body In Balance since 2019. She is a Pelvic Floor speicialist and certified in LSVT Big exercises for Parkinson's Disease. During her career, she has gained experience in working with a wide variety of patients with orthopedic and neurologic conditions, taking particular interest in treating diagnoses and injuries related to the spine. Andrea embodies our commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based care, and her compassionate nature truly sets her apart. Additionally, she instructs the group Yoga class at our facility. 

Dr. Stephanie Hauck

Physical Therapist

Stephanie is a New Jersey Licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy who has been with Body In Balance since October 2021. Stephanie graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology, and then went on to graduate from Rutger’s University Physical Therapy Program in May of 2020. Stephanie holds certification in LSVT BIG for patients with Parkinson’s Disease. She also specializes in the treatment of scoliosis and is a certified Schroth Scoliosis therapist. Additionally, Stephanie has extensive experience in treating patients with pelvic floor dysfunction. Stephanie's skillful expertise, passion, and structured approach further enrich our commitment to personalized and comprehensive care.

Dr. Michael Donoghue

Dr. Michael Donoghue,

Physical Therapist

Michael graduated from Gettysburg College in 1985, he obtained his MSPT degrees from Beaver College in 1987 and his DPT degree with distinction from Arcadia University in 2008. In 1988, Michael received his Athletic Trainer certification from NATA. As dual PT/ATC Michael has had extensive experience in the evaluation, management and rehabilitation of orthopedic, sports, neurological and work related injuries. Prior to Body in Balance Rehabilitation, Michael was owner of Team Rehab Physical Therapy, an outpatient facility in West Deptford, NJ for 30 years. Michael emphasizes individualized, patient-centered care to optimize recovery. He is certified provider in the LSVT BIG Program for Parkinson’s, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization and is an Advanced Instructor in the Oxygen Advantage® breathing performance program, as well as a certified Buteyko Breathing Method® Instructor.

Dr. Saralyn Soto

Physical Therapist

Saralyn is a New Jersey Licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy, proudly holding a Master of Physical Therapy degree from Stockton University (2003) and a Transitional Doctorate from Chatham University (2009). Joining our team at Body In Balance in 2023, she brings a wealth of expertise in manual orthopedics. Dedicated to continuous learning, Saralyn is currently pursuing certification in LSVT BIG exercises for Parkinson's Disease. With a diverse background spanning Outpatient Orthopedics, Aquatic Therapy, Pediatrics, Early Intervention, and Acute Care, Saralyn is known for her caring and compassionate approach in providing exceptional care.

Jose Mercado

Jose Mercado,

Physical Therapist Assistant

Jose is a New Jersey licensed Physical Therapist Assistant who earned an assosiates degree from Atlantic Cape Community College in 2002. He is also an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) member. He has been part of our team at Body In Balance since 2016. He is a certified RockTape therapist, Rock Steady Boxing coach and LSVT BIG provider for Parkinson's disease. During his career, he has gained various experiences in outpatient settings working with orthopedics and patients with neurological conditions. Jose is also a Sergeant First Class in the U.S. Army Reserve, exemplifying his commitment to service. His aspiration includes providing physical therapy services for veterans with PTSD, showcasing his desire to make a meaningful impact. Additionally, he instructs many of the group fitness classes at our facility including Power Hour, Stretch & Strengthen, Circuit Training and Rock Steady Boxing.

Emily Koop

Emily Koop,
M.S., OT/L, CLT, MLD-C
Occupational Therapist

Emily is a registered and New Jersey licensed Occupational Therapist, who earned her masters degree from Stockton University in 2021. She has been a part of our team as our lead Occupational Therapist since 2022. Her experience includes outpatient orthopedics and pediatrics, time working in sub-acute rehab and long term-care settings with adults, and early intervention homecare with children under the age of 3 years old. Emily is a certified lymphedema therapist (CLT) performing manual lymph drainage (MLD) and complete decongestive therapy (CDT). Emily is also certified in Advanced MLD for post-surgical procedures. She is an LSVT BIG certified clinician for patients with Parkinson's Disease. Emily's blend of knowledge, innovation, and kindness significantly enriches our team's ability to provide comprehensive, compassionate care.

Mia Marchisello

Mia Marchisello,

Speech-Language Pathologist

Mia is an American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) certified and New Jersey licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, who earned her masters degree from Stockton University in 2018. She has been part of our team as our lead speech therapist since 2020. Her expertise includes working with voice disorders, swallowing disorders, communication disorders and neurological diagnoses. She is certified in Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT LOUD) for Parkinson's Disease, Loud for Life, Ampcare Effective Swallowing Protocol (ESP) Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES), Kinesiology Taping and Manual Therapy. Throughout her career, Mia has worked with patients across different age groups, gaining experience in various settings such as schools, outpatient clinics, assisted living facilities, sub-acute rehabilitation, long-term care, and early intervention for children under 3 years old. In addition to her clinical work, Mia leads a group cognitive exercise class at our facility called Brain Train, showcasing her commitment to comprehensive care and enhancing the well-being of our community.

Kathy Tierney

Kathy Tierney,
Office Manager

Kathy serves as our Office Manager and Medical Biller with over 20 years of experience in the Rehabilitation field. Her experience includes working as a liaison for over 40 offices and managing between corporate offices and field offices. Her expertise encompasses critical aspects such as hiring, firing, and training administrative staff members, in addition to providing valuable consulting. Kathy's role in our office is pivotal in ensuring the seamless functioning of our practice.

Holly Bozzelli

Holly Bozzelli,
Pilates Instructor

Holly is a certified Pilates instructor since 1998. She earned her degree in Dance from the University of the Arts in 1988. She studied classical Pilates in NYC under the tutelage of Romana Kryzanowska, a protegee of Joseph Pilates. Holly is trained in Pilates Adaptations for People with Scoliosis, supporting the teachings of the Schroth Scoliosis Method. Holly's profound expertise in Pilates is matched by her unwavering dedication and commitment. Sherri Malinowski

Sherri Malinowski,
Office Coordinator

Sherri manages the front therapy office at Body In Balance. She enjoys being one of the first people to greet you with a smile and welcome you to our facility. Prior to finding her new home at Body In Balance, she managed a Chiropractic Center for 13 years and was also a medical assistant to cardiology for 3 of those years. When Sherri is not at the office she is taking care of her two beautiful children and the family's furry friends. Sherri's dynamic personality and funky style make her a memorable presence, making your experience at Body In Balance truly exceptional.
